SAKURA REFLECTION
The white deer in this piece was inspired by my friend’s travel in Japan in which she saw tons of deer scattered around. The legend goes that the Great Shinto deity rode on the back of a white deer. Since then, the deer have been sent as messengers to watch over the city of Nara.

BREAKING DOWN THE PIECE
The Focus on the Details
The tones of this piece were inspired by the cool and cute aesthetic of Japan. Featured in this project is a landscape with a painted texture, and an animated scenery with a dear bowing its head. Each cherry blossom was painted and animated to create a flow with the mesmerizing sky.

TINY TEMPLE
Creating a miniature world featuring the Hiroshima Castle on a macro photo of a rock. The goal of this piece is to give you a clear state of mind.

DANCE ABOVE THE CITY
The challenge was to make a piece from a quote by Julia Cameron. The result is a dreamlike landscape inspired by Peter Pan and Mary Poppins.
QUOTE OF INSPIRATION

THE BEAR
This project was made in celebration of my friends getting accepted to schools with the bear mascot. The goal was to capture the power and majesty of the gentle yet ferocious beast.

ALIEN ABDUCTION
Inspired by all the Area 51 commotion, and the 7.1 magnitude earthquake that occurred around the time of making the piece.

FISHING FOR STARS
In this piece, I was challenged to make a project based on Dreamworks. I used the iconic boy on the moon as an inspiration for this project. In this project, I focused on shadows and textures.

CITY PIGEON
This Fourth of July project was to practice blending and perspective.

LITTLE MOON BOY
More practice on creating small worlds from macro photos. Photo of the little boy taken by Sasint. Experimented with blending and Orton glow in this project.

BARREN LAND SPROUT
It symbolizes a growing hope. A large sprout emerges from the skeleton of a t-rex like that of a very large seed. The land is barren and dark with the moon casting it’s light on the seed. While the glow of the moon is nothing compared to the sun, the seedling still finds a way to grow.

TURTLE MOON
This is one of my first projects that was inspired by another digital manipulation artist. In this project, I learned to manipulate the time of day through the work of lights and shadows.

JELLYFISH GIRL
This was my first attempt at Adobe Photoshop's animation tool. The goal was to create a smooth flow in the ripples of the girl's hair and jellyfish.

THE SERPENTS' FRUIT
The project's goal was to learn how to overlay images of snakeskin on a skeleton to create one complete picture.

THE CORNER OF DISTORTION
This was one of my experimentation with creating effects with Adobe's Photoshop to create a world of effects.
